Making People Happy Since 2012
12 years in, our journey has taken us from the streets of Oxford, to the fields of Glastonbury, and even to royal weddings in India, and the headquarters of companies like Twitter and eBay.
As well as events and festivals, we’ve also had pop ups in Oxford’s Westgate Shopping Centre and The Wave – a man-made surfing lake near Bristol.
The Churros:
Our churros are the ultimate mix between traditional Spanish heritage and the British sweet tooth.
We make our churros fresh every time, using organic flour and completely vegan ingredients.
The Dip:
We serve our churros with a thick, melted Belgian chocolate of the highest quality. We also offer a vegan chocolate dip option.

A delicate crunch with a light and airy centre.
Churros are also known as ‘Spanish doughnuts’, although where they originate from divides opinion.
Some say they were the brainchild of nomadic Spanish shepherds. With no access to bakeries, and minimal ingredients to hand, they made a simple dough and used a pan to fry churros over a fire.
There is a breed of sheep in Spain called the ‘Navajo-Churro’, with horns that resemble the shape of churros. So this story checks out.
But another version of events comes from Portugal. Their legend says that whilst sailing on the Chinese coast, Portuguese sailors discovered a similar fried dough called ‘Youtiao’.
Apparently they brought the recipe back with them and word eventually spread to Spain. This also seems credible.
But let’s not get hung up on Iberian rivalries. Churros are baaaanging, and at Los Churros Amigos we are carrying on the great work of whoever it was that first decided to deep fry a load of dough sticks, and roll them in sugar!
